Undertrial flees from hospital
Hisar, Apr 28 (UNI) An undertrial of the Hisar Central jail today escaped from police custody from the local Civil hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
Police said Puran Singh, who was facing trial under charges of criminal trespass, had made his escape from the hospital toilet by breaking a ventilator glass.
The undertrial had gone to the toilet in the morning and a police constable was on guard at its entrance. The constable got suspicious when the accused did not come out of the toilet after quite some time. The constable later found the broken glass and realised that the undertrial had escaped.
Police registered a case and started investigations.
