Readymade dress showroom owner held

Chennai, Apr 28 (UNI) The central Crime Branch Police has arrested a Bangalore based readymade dress show room owner for cheating a city based dress material supplier to the tune of Rs 50 lakhs, yesterday.

Police said in his complaint Summer Sha of Chennai said Hasim Ali (36) of Bangalore used purchase dress materials from him. In 2005, he had purchased Rs 50 lakhs worth goods from him on a loan.

But despite his repeated attempts, Hasim Ali neither made the payment for his purchase nor returned the goods.

Based on his complaint a police team went to Bangalore and arrested Hasim Ali and remanded him to judicial custody today,police said.
