Property worth 30 lakh gutted

Allahabad, Apr 28 (UNI) Property worth Rs 30 lakh was gutted in a raging inferno at a defunct cinema hall in Chowk area here today.

The incident occurred, whem a 'saree sale' was going on at Rooprani Cinema Hall, which has been closed for exhibition for the last few years.

The blaze was later extinguished by the fire fighters, police said. There were however, casualities.

The reason behind the incident remained unknown, police added.
