Only Kalyan can jail Mulayam, Mayawati: Rajnath

Bhadohi, Apr 28 (UNI) BJP president Rajnath Singh today asserted that ruling Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and BSP chief Mayawati might be threatening to jail each other, if voted to power, but only ''Kalyan Singh is capable of putting them behind the bars.'' ''Mulayam and Mayawati cannot jail each other as they both have CBI probes against them...only Kalyan Singh can put them in jail,'' Mr Yadav told a poll meeting here.

Flaying the Mulayam Singh Yadav regime, the BJP leader alleged that ''history-sheeters rule the roost in Uttam Pradesh, while cases of loot, abduction, murders and rape have become the order of the day.'' Criticising MS chief Mayawati, he alleged ''she is true to no one. Earlier, she insulted Brahmins, Vaishyas and Kshatriyas and now is trying to woo them for gaining UP power. Luckily, the ball is now in people's court and they will surely retort by defeating her.'' ''I hold the Congress, SP and BSP equally responsible for inflation as without the support of the two parties, the Congress would not have come to power at the centre,'' he observed.

He claimed that only former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee had controlled price hike during his tenure.
