Hyderabad, Apr 28 (UNI) The war of words between suspended Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leader A Narendra and TRS President K Chandrasekhara Rao continued today with the former branding the latter as ''traitor'' for his alleged involvement in the human trafficking scam.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Narendra, former Union Minister of State for Rural Development, took strong objection to Mr Rao's charge that he was involved in human trafficing racket using diplomatic passports.

Stoutly denying the charge, Mr Narendra claimed that it was Mr Rao, former Union Labour Minister, who had committed sedition.

Tracing the antecedents of Mr Rao, Mr Narendra claimed that a cheating case had been registered by the city police against the TRS president in the past.

Mr Rao had made false promises to ''several'' people to arrange for employment opportunity in Dubai and collected huge sums of money in the past, he alleged and cited a media report which dubbed him as ''Dubai Sekhar''.

Before leaving for the party's ''Viswaroopa Mahasabha'' in Warangal to mark the sixth anniversary of the TRS, Mr Rao had maintained that he would write to Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee to suspend Narendra's membership for allegedly committing treason by misusing passports of fellow MPs D Ravindra Naik and T Madhusudhana Reddy when they were in his possession and indulging in human trafficking.

The fledgling TRS is in deep trouble ever since the human trafficking racket came to light last week with the arrest of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Babubhai Katara for trying to smuggle out Paramjeet and Amarjeet from Punjab to Toronto on his wife's and son's diplomatic passports.
