Mercury soars in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Apr 28 (UNI) Heat persisted in Rajasthan today with day temperatures soaring steadily, making it unbearable for the people.
The maximum temperature in the state capital rose by a degree from yesterday, mapping 43.6 degree Celsius, making people stay indoors.
Elsewhere in the state, the temperatures hovered above 40 degree Celsius, indicating further rise in the days to come.
Ajmer recorded 41 degree Celsius, Dabok 42, Jodhpur 41 and Bikaner 42.
The met office has prediced a further rise of 1-2 degree Celsius in the next few days. The weather is likely to remain dry with little possibility of showers.
