Magasoft posts 62 per cent growth in net profit

Mumbai, Apr 28 (UNI) IT service provider Megasoft today announced financial results for its first quarter ended March 31.

The company registered net profit growth of 62 per cent at Rs 12.1 crore over the corresponding quarter of the last finacial year.

Its revenue from sales operations was up by 81 per cent at Rs 65 crore over the last corresponding quarter.

The overall increase in revenues from telcom was up by 88 per cent and from consulting was up by 78 per cent in this quarter.

''After the amalgamation with Visualsoft, the Company has re-positioned its IT services business,'' said G V Kumar, MD&CEO of Magasoft.
