Jindal SAW quarter 4 net up 49.05 per cent

New Delhi, Apr 28: Jindal SAW Ltd (JSL) today recorded a 49.05 per cent jump in net proft at Rs 70.25 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 47.13 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

JSL's total income (net of excise) increased to Rs 1,272.27 crore from Rs 955.04 crore during the quarter ended March 31, 2006.

JSL is one of the country's largest producers of SAW pipes.
