Girl raped during Lucknow polling

Lucknow, Apr 28 (UNI) A 21-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a canteen owner during the crucial fifth phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls in Talkatora area of the state capital today.

In her complaint, the girl has accused Indira Management Cooperative Institute canteen owner Virendra Mishra of criminally assaulting her.

Meanwhile, the accused had been arrested and the girl is being sent for medical examination, police added.
