Dry weather over Coastal areas

Bangalore, Apr 28 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka; appreciably above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka and above normal at most places over North Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 42.0 degrees Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/ thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of the State.

Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Maximum temperature would be around 34 degrees celsius.
