CII, Virginia Economic Development Partnership sign MoU

Mumbai, Apr 28 (UNI) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership today signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral trade between India and Commonwealth of Virginia, USA.

The MoU was signed here today by Commonwealth of Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade Patric K O Gottschal and CII Western Region chairman Shrinivas V Dempo.

The objective of the MoU is to promote bilateral trade and investment between India and Commonwealth of Virginia and to enhance a better understanding of both economies.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Gottschal said the state-of-the-art facilities, an enabling business environment, and sea and air connectivity, makes Virginia an ideal business hub.

Mr Dempo said, ''The MoU underlines the need to facilitate free flow exchange of information between India and US.''
