BoB Q4 net jumps 17.65 pc at Rs 245.66 crore

New Delhi, Apr 28: Bank of Baroda (BoB) today announced a net profit of Rs 245.66 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 208.80 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, an increase of 17.65 per cent.

Total income recorded a jump of 25.15 per cent at Rs 2,912.36 crore during the fourth quarter from Rs 2,327.07 crore in Q4FY06.

During 2006-07, the bank posted a net profit of Rs 1,026.47 crore, a growth of 24.12 per cent, as compared to Rs 826.97 crore in the same period a year ago, a statement said.

Total income went up at Rs 10,385.88 crore during FY07, registering a growth of 27 per cent from Rs 8,177.34 crore during the last fiscal.
