Hyderabad, Apr 27 (UNI) Finding itself in the thick of the fake passport racket, the dissidence-ridden Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) seems to be heading for a split with President K Chandrasekara Rao and his Deputy A Narendra falling out, ahead of the party's sixth anniversary.

The movement for statehood to Telangana seems to have suffered a setback with dissidence gripping the fledgling party in the wake of police findings that visas had been issued to some people on diplomatic passports of TRS MPs D Ravindra Naik and T Madhusudhana Reddy when they were in Mr Narendra's possession.

Stoutly denying the charge, Mr Narendra claimed he had taken the passports of his two party colleagues in Parliament for including their names in the MPs delegation to Pakistan.

Six other party legislators, including K Lingaiah who surrendered in a city court today, were allegedly involved in the human trafficking scandal which came to light after BJP MP Babubhai Katara was arrested in Delhi last week for trying to take a woman and a boy to Canada on his family's passports In a game of one-upmanship, Mr Rao suspended Mr Narendra for his alleged involvement in the human trafficking scandal, while the latter accused the TRS Chief Chandrasekhara Rao of illegally sending several people from Gujarat to the United States, the Gulf and other countries on fake passports.
