'TRS Chief involved in human trafficking': TRS MLA
Hyderabad, Apr 27 (UNI) Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) MLA K Lingaiah today alleged that TRS Chief and former Union Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao was also 'involved' in the human trafficking case.
Speaking to mediapersons after the MLA was remanded in judicial custody in connection with the fake passport case at the court premises, Mr Lingaiah, who was also one of the nine dissident TRS MLAs in the party, said a case was registered against the TRS Chief in New Delhi for his alleged involvement in human trafficking.
''I was made a scapegoat in the fake passport case'' he said, adding, ''I am not involved in the case in anyway.'' The TRS MLA alleged that top IAS officers and senior journalists from the state were also involved in the sensational human trafficking scam.
