Tata Indicom's spl offer on USB Modem and V-Data Card

Karnal, Apr 27 (UNI) Tata Indicom today announced a special offer on 'Tata Indicom's USB Data Modem and V-Data Card' which offers customers Free 5GB Data usage at a monthly rental of Rs 425, for the first three months, on all activations done till May 09, 2007.

Announcing this offer for its post-paid customers, Mr Sandeep Dutt Sharma, Circle Operating Officer- Haryana, TATA Teleservices said, ''The device incorporates three major characteristics high performance, compact design and affordable price that offer a high value proposition to the users." It supports standard Mini USB interface, Internal antenna, Max Data speed up to 153.6kbps Voice and SMS (1000 Inbox and Outbox on PC and 62 on USB Modem), Phone book -1000 entries, R-UIM card based, Supports Windows 2000/Windows XP This USB Modem is smallest in its category without external antenna. The technology is based on a T-SIM that can be plugged in desktops, laptops and mobile phones enabling access to Voice, Data and SMS service.

The device meets 'complete connectivity requirements' as it allows the user to anytime access the Internet, send and receive e-mail, connect to a corporate network, make or receive voice calls and send or receive SMS without the need for a network cable or phone line.
