Taj leaves Sir Richard Hadlee spellbound
Agra, Apr 27 (UNI) Overwhelmed by his first glimpse of the monument of love, cricketer and former New Zealand team captain Sir Richard Hadlee could only utter, ''what an exquisite craftsmanship.'' Waxing eloquent on the Taj Mahal, Sir Richard told UNI here that, '' the Taj Mahal is a marvellous edifice and I am overwhelmed with it...I pray that the building remains blemish-free as ever.'' '' It is excellent and uncomparable. By visiting the Taj Mahal, I have made my long lasting dream come true,'' Sir Hadlee, who was in the city along with his wife last evening, observed.
''I and my wife are touched with the kind hospitality of the people here. My better half and I would always cherish the golden memories of Shahjahan's token of love,'' he added.
However, he underlined that the city ought to be made more cleaner and more attention should be given to tourist facilities.
