Subros announces Q4 results

New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) India's leading automotive airconditioning systems manufacturer Subros Ltd today announced a decrease in its net profit (after tax).

The profit for the fourth quarter stood at Rs 8.08 crore as against Rs 9.69 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

''The decline in profit is mainly due to higher cost of staff and finance and higher depreciation for setting up new manufacturing facilities at Manesar, Haryana and Pune, Maharashtra,'' said an official statement.

The company has achieved sales figure of 1,33,581 AC Systems of sales value worth Rs 213.78 crore for the quarter ended 31st march, 2007.

However on an yearly basis, the company has sold 4,67,478 number of AC Systems and sales value of Rs 755 crores.
