Bangalore, Apr 27 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hrs here today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over coastal karnataka and south interior karnataka.Dry weather prevailed over North INterior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall(cm) Sringeri 3 Puttur Kundapur one each.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the state.They were above normal at many places over Interior Karnataka being appreciably so at a few places over south interior karnataka;appreciably above normal at a few places over coastal karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 42.0 degree celsius over the state.

Forecast valid until Sunday morning:Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the state.
