PTC net down 14 pc

New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) PTC India Limited today announced a decrease in its net profit by 14 per cent at Rs 35.09 crore for the current fiscal as against Rs 40.63 crore for the previous year.

The company recorded an increase in income from operations higher by 21 per cent at Rs 3766.66 crore for the FY 2007 as against Rs 3108.55 crore in the FY2006.

The income from operations of the company was at Rs 602.48 crore from Rs 754.68 crore, lower by about 20 per cent over the corresponding quarter.

Net profit for the Q4FY2007 was down 17 per cent at Rs 5.80 crore from Rs 6.99 crore of the corresponding quarter.
