PSI Data systems revenue up by 16 per cent

Bangalore, Apr 27 (UNI) PSI Data Systems Limited, the IT solutions business of the Aditya Birla Group, today announced a 16 per cent increase in its revenue at Rs 95.21 crore.

The Company in a release here, said that the company earned Rs 25.74 crore in the fourth quarter with the net profit at Rs 1.97 crore. In terms of sequential quarter growth, revenues grew 15 per cent (from Rs. 222.99 million to Rs 257.45 million) over the previous quarter ended December 31, 2006.

The company said it added 20 new clients during the year just ended (11 new clients in 2005-06) and continued to invest strongly in Marketing initiatives and R&D. PSI's Centres of Insight generated eight components and frameworks during the year.

The company was setting up a new campus facility in Bangalore and had re-organised as Strategic Business Units--Financial Services and High Tech.

Commenting on the financial results, Mr Sampath Iyengar, CEO of PSI Data Systems said, ''Our results for 2006-07 show that our strategic direction is resonating. We not only acquired new clients in our strategic markets, but also retained key clients effectively.

Our customers continue to endorse our solutions oriented, partnering approach''.
