Private agencies to survey amenities in MP
Bhopal, Apr 27: The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to engage private agencies for field survey of basic amenities in the state to assess implementation of various schemes.
Chief Secretary R C Sahni gave directions in this regard to Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors yesterday while reviewing various schemes through teleconferencing.
''Emphasis should be given to tide over drinking water problem till monsoon by resorting to measures like putting restrictions on private sources and use in construction works'', Mr Sahni said.
He also issued directives for monitoring availability of seeds and fertilisers for Kharif season, distribution of scholarship to students, effective surveillance on water-borne diseases and prevention of cattle diseases, official sources said.
