Police arrests fasting BJP leader, shifts him to hospital

Hyderabad, Apr 27 (UNI) Police today arrested BJP National Secretary N Indrasena Reddy, who launched 'fast-unto-death' demanding the government to stop the 'illegal' construction of Babli project across Godavari river by the Maharashtra government on April 23.

Mr Reddy was arrested along with other party leaders and activists while he was fasting.

The BJP leader was admitted to Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS).

Mr Reddy was arrested due to his deteriorating health condition, police added.
