Pleasant weather greets city-dwellers

Kolkata, Apr 27 (UNI) Kolkatans got respite from the sweltering summer heat as the temperature dropped further today and cool breeze started blowing.

The maximum temperature came down by two degrees to 34.1 degress Celsius while the minimum temperature has reduced by one degree to 25.5 degrees Celsius, Alipur Met officals informed.

The Met officials also said that the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy with chances of rain and thunder showers later in the evening and night.

The maximum temperature is expected to remain at 34 degrees Celsius.

About 0.4 mm rainfall was recorded by the Met Department here.

The maximum humidity level was recorded at 87 per cent and the minimum was 58 per cent.
