Over 5.83 lakhs unemployed youths in Manipur

Imphal, April 27 (UNI) There are about 5,83,653 registered unemployed youth in Manipur, sources in the Employment Exchange said today.

There are a large number of educated youth, who do not register at the exchange.

Among the 5.83 lakhs unemployed youth, there are about 1,62,623 women. Imphal West alone has the maximum number of unemployed youth - 2,02,977.
