Nikkei little changed as investors turn cautious

Tokyo, Apr 27: The Nikkei average was little changed in early trade on Friday with investors taking a cautious tack ahead of earnings results later in the day from companies such as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd.

The Nikkei was up 0.05 percent at 17,437.77 as of 0009 GMT.

The TOPIX was up 0.29 percent at 1,708.31.
