Nick announces 'Nick Fundoo Superstar Contest'

Mumbai, Apr 27 (UNI) Nick, a fast-growing kids entertainment channel has announced the launch of its grand summer promotion - the ''Nick Fundoo Superstar Contest''.

The four-week promotion will culminate with four lucky winners from India who will get a chance to star in Nick music video along with Nick toon stars and TV celebrity Mona Singh (aka Jassi).

There will be no auditions, no tests, no judges, and no jury. The children will just have to be their ''fundoo selves''.

The promotion will begin on May 7 and end on June 3. Apart from the four winners who will feature in the Nick music video, thousands of other kids also would win other prizes. There are 28 computers and over 5000 Nicks lime kits to be won.

Mona Singh is the Brand Ambassador for this promotion and she will promote the contest in 38 cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bhopal, Indore, and Jaipur.

Nick has also roped in Swanand Kirkire (known for his lyrics in ''Parineeta'' and ''Lage Raho Munnabhai'') and Vishal-Shekhar (well known duo from Bollywood) for the Nick Fundoo Superstar Contest.

Swanand will pen the lyrics, while Vishal-Shekhar will compose the music for the song. Bosco Bhandarkar will direct the music video.

''Nick makes being a kid so much fun. I am glad to have this opportunity to be a kid again and shake a leg with Nick Fundoo Superstars and Nicktoon stars. With so many stars around, I might just get stage fright,'' says Mona Singh.
