MetLife launches 'Sumangali' and 'Vidyakiran'

Bangalore, Apr 27 (UNI) MetLife India Insurance Company Private Limited today launched 'Sumangali' and 'Vidyakiran' exclusively for Karnataka Bank customers.

The policies were based on Met Smart Plus, a unit linked insurance plan, Bank Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ananthkrishna told newspersons here today.

He said while 'Sumangali' was designed to meet the marriage expenses of daughter, 'Vidyakiran' would take care of higher education of the child.

Besides providing liquidity to meet critical expenses, the policies would provide insurance coverage to the policy holder upto the age of 99 years, he added.
