Malayalam film actres Kottayam Santa passes away

Kottayam, Apr 27 (UNI) Malayalam film actress and dubbing artist Kottayam Santha was found dead in her house at Olassa in the district today.

Santha (64) was survived by a daughter.

Starting her acting career in Ponkunnam Varkey's theatre group, she had acted in more than 300 films and had rendered voice to more than 1,000 films. She had dubbed for actresses Seema and Lakshmi.

The sixties and seventies were her golden era in the celluloid.

Her last film was Palunku, directed by Blessy last year.

She had also acted in several TV serials.
