JD(U) to field candidate for Daltonganj assembly seat

Ranchi, Apr 27 (UNI) Senior JD(U) leader Radha Krishna Kishore today said that the party would field its own candidate in the by-poll to Daltonganj assembly seat.

Mr Kishore told reporters that since the area was represented by the JD(U), "so the party will stake its claim". ''State BJP president P N Singh has already made it clear,'' he added.

To a query Mr Kishore said though Mr Namdhari had not given any proposal to return to the JD(U), if he desires then party leaders could think over it.

Bypoll to the seat was necessitated after JD(U)'s Inder Singh Namdhari resigned following conflict in the party over withdrawing its candidate from the Palamu Lok Sabha by-poll.
