Former HP CS passes away

Shimla, Apr 27 (UNI) Former Himachal Pradesh chief secretary P K Mattoo died at New Delhi, official and family sources said today.

Mattoo, who was passed away yesterday, was also the chairman of the HP Public Service Commission after superannuating as the state's CS.

State Governor V S Kokje, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh Lok Sabha MP from Mandi constituency and Horticulture Minister Singhi Ram have also expressed grief over his death.

The Chief Minister also expressed grief over the death of five people in a road accident near Baltidhar village in Shimla district yesterday.
