Foreign reserves escalate to USD 203.881 BILLION
Mumbai, Apr 27 (UNI) India's foreign reserves rose to USD 203.881 billion as on April 20, from USD 203.092 billion a week earlier, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said in its weekly stastistical supplement today.
The central bank said the foreign currency assets expressed in US dollar terms included the effect of appreciation or depreciation of other currencies held in its reserves such as euro, pound and yen.
The foreign exchange reserves include India's reserve tranche position in the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the bank added.
