Ahmedabad, Apr 27 (UNI) Leader of the opposition in the Gujarat Assembly Arjun Modhwadia today said if proper lessons were not learnt from the present unsavoury incidents involving DIG Vanzara and Rajkumar Pandian, it could have serious repercussions in the future.

Mr Modhwadia, in a release here, issued a veiled warning that the officers who were acting as ''stooges of Mr Modi'' by putting aside their moral and legal convictions, were being observed by the Congress and they could be prosecuted in the future, ''Some of the corrupt officers of the Modi government have brought a bad name to the State by negating their oath of office and acting against the principles of democracy by supporting directly or indirectly the vendetta politics of the BJP,'' Mr Modhwadia said.

Pointing out the way the Modi government was functioning, Mr Modhwadia said that Mr Modi never makes any noting on files other than simply signing them. He puts a yellow sticker on it and then writes a note on it. This yellow sticker is then discarded by the bureaucrat after reading it. He does whatever he is told to do on the yellow sticker. The whole system has become non-transparent and unaccountable, Mr Modhwadia alleged.
