DIAL gets new COO as Yanni moves on

New Delhi, Apr 27: Mr Andrew Harrison will take over as interim chief operations officer at the Delhi International Airport Private Limited (DIAL) from Mr Ioannis Papastefanou on April 30.

Mr Papastefanou, fondly called Yanni by his colleagues, has stepped down as DIAL's COO due to personal reasons which necessitate his presence in his native Athens. He will however continue to provide his expertise as advisor for DIAL and GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL).

Mr Harrison is currently the COO at GHIAL. Before this, he was operations director for London Luton Airport.

DIAL is a joint venture company consisting of GMR Group, Airports Authority of India, Fraport, Eraman Malaysia and India Development Fund. It is working towards modernisation and restructuring of the Delhi airport.
