Development is SP's priority: Amar Singh
Jaunpur, Apr 27 (UNI) Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh today asserted that development had always been the core agenda for SP and would continue to be, if the party retains power in Uttar Pradesh.
Drawing a comparison between the ruling SP and previous regimes, Mr Singh said the condition of roads, power supply and provision of safe water and infrastructure had improved under the Mulayam Singh Yadav rule.
''Farmers would be provided with free power and irrigation facilities, if SP comes to power'' he said Mr Singh said his government had fulfilled all its promises.
Castigating BSP Chief Mayawati, he said ''woh Dalit nahi balki daulat ki beti hai aur unke darbaar me haathi ke saath-saath insaan bhi bikta hai (she is not a dalit's daughter and is power greedy).'' Congress, BJP and BSP are all jealous of SP chief Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav's popularity, he noted.
