CM inaugurates sify technology centre in city

Hyderabad, Apr 27 (UNI)Andhra Pradsesh Chief Minister Dr.Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy today inaugurated the state-of-the art Sify Technology Centre in the city today.

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Sify, Raju Vegesna said the new technology centre in the city would help them leverage the growing business opportunities in the enterprise segment, both domestic and overseas.

He said the center which was established with at an estimated cost of Rs.four to five crore would be an important facility for IT Infrasatructure management services and develoopment of their industry.

He said Hyderabad was a city known the world over for its high quality talent in technology. They planned to tap this rich resource pool to deliver next generation services and solutions to both domestic and international clients.

He said the Technology centre would focus on developing applications and competencies related to network management, development tools and applcations.

Sify was among the largest Internet, networrk and e-Commerce services companies in India offering end-to-end solutions with a comprehensive range of products delivered over a common internet backbone infrastructure which reaches 188 cities and towns in the country.
