CBI arrests one in forged passport racket
New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) The CBI today busted a forged passport racket with the arrest of one person near a Daryaganj hotel yesterday, sourced said today.
Dharam Raj Boudel, who was arrested for forging passports and promoting human trafficking, was presented in a city court today, where he was remanded in CBI custody till April 30.
The CBI, acting on a tip-off, laid a trap and nabbed Boudel red-handed for selling forged passports for hefty amounts, the sources informed.
According to the CBI, Boudel has revealed names of two others involved in the racket.
Interrogation is on to find out the extent of the racket and the involvement of the named persons in the racket.
