Berger Paints in JV with Japan's Nippon

New Delhi, Apr 27: Berger Paints India Ltd today entered into a joint venture with Japan-based Nippon Bee Chemical Co Ltd for manufacture and sale of auto coatings in India.

Calcutta-based Berger Paint is engaged in manufacturing of decorative and industrial paints.

The country's third largest paint manufacturer, controls a distribution network comprising of 66 stock points and about 10,000 dealers, spread across the country.

Nippon Bee Chemical Co Ltd is a 50:50 joint venture between Nippon Paint Co Ltd and Bee Chemical.

The company manufactures and sales plastic coatings and vacuum metalising coatings.
