Aztecsoft consolidated revenue up 32%

Bangalore, Apr 27 (UNI) Aztecsoft Limited today reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 269.99 crore for 2006-07, registering a 32 per cent increase over the turnover of previous fiscal.

The company, in a release here said net profit grew by five per cent at Rs 38.62 crore from Rs 36.87 crore the previous year.

On a stand-alone and amalgamated basis for FY 2006-07,Aztecsoft's revenues and profit after tax were at Rs 241.44 crore and Rs 37.98 crore respectively.

For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007, Aztecsoft has posted revenue of Rs 62.25 crore and a net profit of Rs 6.75 crore on consolidated basis.

The Karnataka High Court has approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of Aztec Disha Technologies Limited with Aztecsoft Limited.

The company during the fourth quarter continued strong customer acquisition with six new clients added. During the current quarter, Aztecsoft's staff strength stood at 2,194.

Aztecsoft said the total active client count increased to 90 at the end of last quarter. The client additions included business leaders in the data management and wireless domains. The company said its offshore revenue was 81 per cent.

Aztecsoft Chairman K B Chandrasekhar, commenting on the results, said the year witnessed robust addition of strategic clients with good revenue potential.
