Three of a family get life term for murder

Patna, Apr 26 (UNI) A sessions court here today awarded life imprisonment to three members of a family for their involvment in a murder case.

Additional District and sessions Judge S P N Singh found Sanjeevan Yadav, his wife Janki Devi and son Kedar yadav - residents of Gyan Chak Mohalla under Deedarganj police station area of Patna district, guilty of killing a close relative Bharat Yadav.

According to the charges, victim Bharat Yadav was shot dead by the accused under Deedargunj police station area on December 7, 1996.

The motive behind the killing was found to be land dispute.

UNI
