Three-and-a-half-year girl raped

Fatehgarh Sahib, Apr 26 (UNI) A three-and-a-half-year-old girl was allegedly raped by some unidentified person(s) in a Bassi Pathana slum late last night.

Government Railway Police has registered a case under sections 363, 366, 376, 311 of the IPC on the complaint of the girl's father Lalan Dass.

According to the complaint, the child's mother living in slums of Bassi Pathana, woke up last night to find her daughter missing from her bed and raised an alarm.

When the family searched for the girl, they found her abandoned near the house in a bleeding and semi-conscious condition. She was rushed to Civil Hospital, Bassi Pathana in a serious condition, from where she was sent to Civil Hospital, Fatehgarh Sahib and then referred to Government Rajindra Hospital, Patiala.

Sources said that the girl was out of danger now and her medical examination had been conducted.
