SUCI demands resignation of State Chief Minister
Ahmedabad, Apr 26 (UNI) Holding Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi responsible for the fake encouters, the state unit of Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) today demanded the resignation of Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to restore the rule of law in the state in view of the exposure of fake encounter of Soharabuddin.
SUCI, state secretary, Dwarikanath Rath alleged that the way the three senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers were held on Tuesday for fake encounters and killing of Soharabuddin is a clear pointer to the ''state of affairs in the state''.
He said SUCI will submit a memorandum to the Union Home Minister, State Governor and National Human Rights Commission, indicating that there were eleven encounters in the name of attempt on the life of Modi and other dignitaries in the past five years, where the most of the victims belong to a particular minority community.
The sabotage tactics of Amit Shah, who had tried to influence the investigations carried out by the CID (crime) in the case, exposes his collusion in this fake encounter, Rath alleged.
''This fake encounter could not have taken place without the knowledge of the Chief Minister Narendra Modi, he further alleged.
