Prisoner injures policeman's head with handcuff

Hazaribagh, Apr 26 (UNI) A prisoner, brought to be produced in a local court in the district headquarter of Jharkhand today, injured a policeman with his handcuff in a fit of rage.

Vinod Kumar Yadav, accused of murder, was being taken to a fast track court situated at the court premises.

As an altercation took place between the accused and constable Rajendra Paswan, the former hit the latter's head with his handcuff.

The injured was admitted to civil hospital.
