Notorious gangster arrested in Bihar

Bhabhua, Apr 26 (UNI) Notorious gangster Maqsoodan Yadav, carrying cash prize of Rs 75000 on his head, was arrested from Kudra bus stand under Bhabhua police station area in Kaimur district today.

District superintendent of police Rajesh Kumar said here that acting on a tip off, the gangster was arrested and a country made revolver besides several live cartridges were recovered from his possession.

The Uttar Pradesh and the Bihar governments had announced Rs 50000 and Rs 25000 respectively for providing any clue leading to arrest of the gangster.

Maqsoodan was wanted in connection with 36 cases of murder, kidnapping, dacoity, loot and arson.
