NCP MLA Navakumar dead

Imphal, April 26 (UNI) NCP MLA Navakumar from the Khundrakpam constituency today died at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) here.

He died of cardiac arrest in the hospital where he was admitted after he complained of chest pain, official sources said.

Mr Navakumar had for the first time won the Assembly elections in February by defeating 11 candidates from the Khundrakpam in East Imphal.
