Man commits suicide in jail

Krishnagar, Apr 26 (UNI) A man today committed suicide in the Nadia district jail, police said.

Police sources said they found Anoop Biswas (22) in an unconsious state after he tried to commit suicide by hanging himself in the bathroom of the jail.

Biswas was arrested on March 18 in the case of women-trafficking and kidnapping.

However, he was rushed to the district Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
