LS passes Demands for Grants for Railways

New Delhi, Apr 26 (UNI) The Lok Sabha today passed without discussion the Demands for Grants(Railways)for 2007-2008.

Earlier, all the cut motions in this connection were negatived.

The House also passed without discussion the Appropriation (Railways) Bill 2007 introduced by Railway Minister Lalu Prasad to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from the Consolidated Fund of India for the services of the financial year 2007-08 for the purpose of Railways.
