IAS officer's cremation

Kasrawad, MP, Apr 26 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh's former Chief Election Officer Vijay Kumar S Patidar, a 1983 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who died in the US on April 22 after a prolonged battle against blood cancer, will be cremated on April 30 at Markati Sangam on the Narmada bank in this Khargone district village.

He was hospitalised at Houston on October 18 last year.

Mr Patidar (51), who belonged to Kasrawad, was an alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. He served as senior executive at the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance in Sweden. The Madhya Pradesh IAS Association expressed grief, a release said.
