Fee for pvt medical colleges fixed by panel

Kochi, Apr 26 (UNI) The A P Mohammad Committee today fixed Rs 1.30 lakh as fee for private medical colleges for the academic year 2007-08.

A spokesperson for the committee said the fee for the CSI Medical College, Karakonam would be Rs 1.38 lakh while for the Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur it will be Rs 1.31 lakh.

The committee was yet to announce the fee for the Kochi Co-operative and Pariyaram Co-operative Medical Colleges.

The committee would announce the fee for dental and ayurveda colleges tomorrow, the spokesperson added.
