AP: CPI seeks probe into human trafficking
Vijayawada, Apr 26: The Communist Party of India (CPI) today demanded the Centre to order a high-level inquiry into the alleged role of MLAs and MPs in the human trafficking racket.
Addressing a newspersons here, CPI state secretary K Narayana said the inquiry should be completed in a time-bound manner for taking appropriate action against those involved in the case.
He termed the trafficking of women and children to foreign countries as an 'extraordinary' offence.
