Cong roadshow 'flop show': Amar Singh
Sultanpur, Apr 26 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) general secretary Amar Singh today asserted the recent roadshow of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and his MP son Rahul was a 'flop show'.
Addressing an election meeting here, Mr Singh noted people turn out only to have a glimpse of Ms Gandhi and Rahul in their roadshow.
''They are not the Congress supporters.'' Throwing challenge to the Amethi MP, he asserted that Rahul cannot win even from any of the SP workers in Isauli assembly seat.
''Rahul wins from Amethi, but Gandhis' aide Captain Satish Sharma lost from the Sultanpur seat,'' he reminded.
Mr Singh added Congress was only making the BJP stronger in Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Maharashtra.
Only SP can fight communalism. 'Roti, kapda aur makaan' are the priorities for the party. The opposition is jealous of our achievements, he claimed.
Mr Singh further alleged there was no difference between BSP and BJP.
Meanwhile, SP MP and actor Jaya Prada lambasted BSP chief Mayawati, saying her dream of coming to power would never become true.
